Is the Sharon Institute affiliated with Brigham Young University?

No. The Sharon Institute is not affiliated with Brigham Young University or any other university. While individual scholars associated with the Institute may hold university appointments, the Institute itself operates independently.

What is the primary focus of the Institute?

Our work has primarily centered on the social sciences and humanities. However, we welcome serious scholarly work from all disciplines.

Who can attend your conferences?

Do I need to be a member of the Church to attend?

Does the Sharon Institute accept paper or presentation proposals?
